MusicWorks offers lessons on flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, tuba, guitar, bass, percussion and music theory.
We also offer Group Lessons (four in each group) in Guitar, Jazz Improv and Jazz Theory, and Traditional Theory. Lessons given on a weekly basis. If interested, please call to find out if group is forming.
All individual lessons are one on one and allow the student to learn and progress at their own pace and reach their full potential. Each student is evaluated as to physical characteristics, learning potential, capabilities and knowledge of the instrument. The teacher then develops a course of study which is suited to the student’s ability and comprehension.
Lessons are given on a weekly basis for 30 or 60 minute sessions, and are paid on a monthly basis. Other arrangements can be made with the teacher.
LESSON FEES: 30 minute lesson - $ 20.00 - 60 minute lesson - $ 40.00 GROUP LESSONS: 1 HR - $10.00 ea. lesson
Payment arrangements, scheduling, make up lessons and lesson length are made with the teacher. Teachers strive to accommodate students and parents as to the best schedule.
If a student is unable to attend a lesson, we ask that you call as far in advance as possible. This provides spots for make up lessons for other students. We understand that there will be emergency situations from time to time, so a call would be impossible.
Students wishing to discontinue lessons should give the teacher at least a two week notice when practical.
